Comic Journaling Circle for adults

A gentle monthly circle to slow down, reflect, and build a creative practice—one page at a time. Join us on the third Sundays of every month for a 90-minute live comic journaling session.

Time: 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM IST

By Sameera Maruvada - cartoonist, writer, founder of Saltandsambar webcomics

Comic journaling is a simple way to document your life, process your thoughts, and build a sustainable creative practice, one page at a time.

Alongside our monthly online sessions, you'll get access to our private Discord community, where you can share your journal comics, celebrate each other's work, exchange ideas, and stay inspired between meetups.

Whether you're an artist, writer, or complete beginner, this circle is for anyone who wants to slow down, reflect, and make creativity a regular part of their life.

What's included:

  • A 90-minute live, prompt-based silent comic journaling sessions every month, facilitated by Sameera Maruvada, followed by an optional discussion and sharing circle

  • Access to a private Discord community to share your comic journal pages, exchange ideas, and connect with fellow participants

  • A supportive space for self-expression and self-reflection, where you can create at your own pace without pressure

  • Gentle accountability to help you maintain a sustainable creative practice between sessions

  • A community rooted in reflection and creative expression, where everyday moments and stories are valued and celebrated

Not a drawing class.
